Material World and the Los Angeles International Textile Show are set to merge, according to sources.
Material World, owned by Atlanta-based Urban Expositions and sponsored by the American Apparel & Footwear Association, was set to host its first West Coast show Sept. 30 through Oct. 2 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Sources said Material World no longer plans to host a show at the convention center and will instead merge with the Los Angeles International Textile Show, which is produced and hosted by the California Market Center. The next edition of the Los Angeles International Textile show is slated to take place April 14 to 16.
