NEW YORK -- Hoechst Celanese Corp. said Monday that it plans to increase its annual production capacity of polyester filament by 30 million pounds. The project will be completed over 18 months.
The increase -- which will bring its total capacity of the fiber in North America to 260 million pounds -- will come from boosting efficiency at the polymer and spinning operations at the company's Shelby, N.C., plant, said Toby Bradshaw, Hoechst's polyester filament business unit director.
“I was touched by the fact that she lost her father, really before his time, and it was a real shock. She had two young children, she was married and she was expecting that she would have her own life for a good 25 years,” said Claire Foy about playing a young Queen Elizabeth in Netflix’s The Crown.
