ATLANTA — Pukka Headwear has acquired headwear brand seven7under from John Bond for an undisclosed amount, and has named Bond vice-president of sales of Pukka Headwear.
Pukka, based in Findlay, Ohio, designs, makes and markets premium custom headwear products in the golf, collegiate and team dealer markets. The seven7under brand puts it in the core logo market. Plans to release seven7under to market under the direction of Pukka are in development and will be announced in early July.
Bond was president of Imperial Headwear for seven years before leaving to found seven7under.
Shawn Rogers, president of Pukka Headwear, said, “The opportunity to absorb a pioneered brand and at the same time add an industry veteran the caliber of John Bond provides us with the right product mix and leadership and vision to make an even bigger impact in the golf market.”
