Randa Accessories has inked new licensesfor the Signature by Levi Strauss & Co. brand, in addition to the EckoUnltd., Marc Ecko Cut & Sew and Avirex brands, all owned by Marc EckoEnterprises.
The Signature by Levi Stauss & Co.license is for men’s belts, wallets, small leather goods, gifts, backpacks andbags, which will be sold into the mass channel beginning this fall. Ticketedprices will be between $29 and $49, but the promotional nature of the businessmeans most product will go out the door under $20. Randa Accessories is thelongtime licensee for the Levi’s and Dockers brands, also owned by Levi Strauss& Co.
“It is an important addition to ourportfolio and an integral part of our marketing strategy,” said David Katz,senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Randa Accessories.
The Ecko Unltd., Marc Ecko Cut & Sewand Avirex licenses are for men’s ties, pocket squares, belts, wallets,suspenders, bandanas, travels kits and manicure kits. The three brands will be soldat department stores, including Macy’s, Dillard’s, Belk, Bon-Ton andGottschalks beginning this fall. The brands join Ben Sherman and OriginalPenguin in Randa Accessories’ young men’s division.
Taking the final spot on the mens’ portion of New York Fashion Week calendar next month will be none other than @tomford. Though he’s shown his men’s wear in New York in the past, this will mark the first time the designer has shown his men’s collection alone during New York Fashion Week: Men’s. His runway show will debut on February 6 at the Park Avenue Armory. #wwdfashion

Minnie Mouse celebrated her 90th birthday by getting her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. For her celebratory luncheon, @coach’s creative director @stuartvevers dressed her in a custom made prairie dress, complete with Vever’s take on the polka dot – black sequined versions – under a cropped motorcycle jacket. @nickjonas is unveiling his first-ever apparel collection through a partnership with John Varvatos.
