New York sophistication with a touch of Irish rural influence. That’s the idea behind Kenneth Cole’s fall collection, for a look creative director Ingo Wilts has dubbed Urban Rebel. Dark Irish greens and browns blend with basic blacks, while faux fur and rich textures on knits are peppered throughout. Dresses are easy, many with ruching and a bit of stretch, and outerwear is prevalent, ranging from tailored to boxy-cozy. That rebel spirit is more obvious in the men’s wear, i.e. slim dark denim, sleek leather pants and metal buttons and hardware on jackets and accessories.
