Italians are known the world over for their appreciation of the finer things in life.
So it‘s not surprising that Italian products are recognized – and valued – for their excellence. The world loves Italian food, furniture, automobiles and – perhaps most especially – Italian fashion.
It’s easy to understand why. “Italian designers have always been – and remain – dedicated to the pursuit of quality, innovation and beauty,” says Aniello Musella, executive director for the Italian Trade Commission in the US. “And for people in the fashion industry, ‘Made in Italy’ also signifies constant research to identify innovative materials and new trends.”

Leave it to a culture whose ancient history has created an appreciation of the long view to put “green” ideas into practice. “Evidence of the quest for innovation is in the growing number of Italian companies using eco-friendly materials and techniques to create their products,” says Musella.
In other words, the love affair the world has with Italian fashion is likely to continue. “Yes,” says Musella, “I am confident that “Made in Italy” will continue to further excel in the future years.”
