MILAN — LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has named Alessandra Carra chief executive officer of Emilio Pucci, effective at the end of the month. This confirms a WWD Fashion Scoop on Feb. 27.
Carra will report to Pierre-Yves Roussel, president of the LVMH fashion division. She succeeds Didier Drouet, who rejoined LVMH in Paris to take on new responsibilities. “These changes will allow us to capitalize on the brand’s strong dynamism and on an ambitious development plan,” said the company.
Carra previously was ceo of Polo Ralph Lauren Italy and countries under license, a post she’d held since 2004. Prior to that, she was vice president of marketing, sales and distribution worldwide at Valentino and held positions at Levi Strauss Group and Trussardi.
