The dresses follow the success of David Meister’s Signature eveningwear line, which is exclusive to Bergdorf’s and Neiman Marcus.
The daytime collection consists of seven dress styles that will retail from $695 to $950. Fabrics have subtle textural details and are in shades of white, neutrals and navy with pops of coral. “All of the fabrics are all lightweight, very textural and have great surface interest. They range from jacquards to lightweight metallic bouclés,” said Meister.
The dresses, manufactured in Los Angeles, will be housed on Bergdorf’s sixth floor.
Known for its sophisticated, body-conscious designs, Meister’s eveningwear has been worn on the red carpet by such stars as Sofia Vergara, Diane Lane, Sharon Stone, Sophia Bush, Jessica Lange and Viola Davis, as well as Jill Biden.
Meister is a division of Kellwood Co.
