The brand inked a deal with Mirabel Edgedale Ltd., the London-based agency, to distribute its new contemporary label in Europe and the Middle East. The deal is effective with the spring launch collection.
“Mirabel Edgedale is unparalleled in the European market in its ability to not only establish successful commercial businesses for fashion houses, but to also distribute and promote a retail strategy that befits each specific European country and brand,” Halston president and chief executive officer Bonnie Takhar said.
Halston Heritage will feature reproductions of original Halston looks at contemporary price points, ranging from tie-dye and sequin dresses to Ultrasuede and chiffon dresses, espadrille wedges and sac bags. The line will be manufactured in a partnership with Li & Fung Ltd.’s Silvereed division.
Mirabel Edgedale, who founded her namesake firm in 1987, has worked with brands such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, Moschino and Alberta Ferretti.
