The Ralph Rucci growth strategy was implemented after Nancy and Howard Marks made a capital investment in 2012, and became its chairman and a board member, respectively.
“When I met Joey, I immediately knew he had the vision and expertise to build Ralph Rucci into an accessible, modern, American fashion brand,” Nancy Marks said. “His affinity for fashion and knowledge of retailing are the strengths we wanted in a leader.”
Rucci added, “He understands the DNA of the brand and respects the loyal following we have cultivated, and he wants to bring Ralph Rucci to more women around the world.”
Laurenti will work closely with Nancy Marks and the designer. “I have been an admirer of Ralph Rucci for years and am honored to be part of the expansion and development of this iconic brand,” Laurenti said. “I want to continue on the path Mr. Rucci has forged, while focusing on strengthening retail relationships and developing new customers.”
