The 1,500-square-foot store will be a franchise location at 35 Kutuzovsky.
Meanwhile, closer to home, after 11 years on Paris’ Left Bank, Pellat-Finet has relocated and opened a 1,500-square-foot store across the river at 231 Rue Saint-Honoré. Set over two floors, the store showcases his women’s, men’s and children’s wear collections. Also on sale are the designer’s in-house accessories and homeware products, including shampoo for cashmere sweaters.
“I base my business on a way of life and sophistication,” said Pellat-Finet, who, for his spring collection, collaborated with Japanese artist Mister.
Pellat-Finet’s cashmere sweaters are made in Scotland and start at 424 euros, or $570 at current exchange, for a plain sweater without a motif, while his crocodile handbags can reach 12,000 euros, or $16,157. The designer’s business includes several stores in Japan as well as boutiques in London and New York.
