Eurovet Divests Fashion Shows

Première Vision will acquire its division of fashion fairs.

European trade show giants Eurovet and Première Vision have entered into an agreement in which Première Vision will acquire Eurovet’s division of fashion fairs.

The deal involves a group of five annual trade shows — Fatex, Zoom by Fatex, and Made in France by Fatex, as well as Tissu Premier and Collections. The fashion venues are staged in both Paris and Lille, France.

The move marks a new step in Eurovet’s consolidation of its lingerie division. Last year, Eurovet bought the CurvExpo Inc. trade fairs that take place in New York and Las Vegas.

With this acquisition, made through its subsidiary PV Manufacturing, Première Vision said it rounded out its existing businesses by an entry in the downstream sector. The trade fair organizer intends to integrate the soon-to-be acquired shows into its Première Vision Pluriel portfolio. The company will own five of the six venues in this portfolio. The sixth show is Cuir à Paris.

The next edition of Première Vision Pluriel is scheduled for Sept. 17 to 19 at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte.
