Jessica Simpson Signs Innerwear Deal

Vandale will ship Jessica Simpson lingerie, sleepwear, at-homewear and dayware to stores in January.

In another extension of the Jessica Simpson name, the Camuto Group has signed a licensing pact with New York-based lingerie company Vandale Industries to produce a collection of intimates bearing the name of the singer-actress. Camuto holds the master license for the Jessica Simpson fashion franchise, which includes licenses for shoes, scarves, hats, hosiery, bath and body care products, and fragrance.

The collection, which will feature lingerie, sleepwear, at-homewear and daywear, will be launched at the August innerwear market. The line will be initially aimed at major department and specialty stores nationwide. Shipments will commence in January. Select international distribution will follow.
