Faye McLeod has joined Louis Vuitton as creative director of visual merchandising.
In this role, she is overseeing the direction of global creative for store windows and special projects. Most recently, McLeod served as visual director for Jigsaw. She exited that post last month.
At Louis Vuitton, McLeod is based in Paris and reports to Séverine Merle.
Despite a 23 percent decline in profits for the first half of the year, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton expects to gain market share in 2009 because of product launches, expansion in new markets and cost containments. The Louis Vuitton label has been a relative bright spot. The French luxury group reported fashion and leather goods sales grew 8 percent to 2.98 billion euros, or $4 billion, due partially to the strength of Louis Vuitton bags and luggage.
