Jonathan Norwood has resigned as chief financial officer and treasurer of Hampshire Group, Ltd., the women’s and men’s apparel manufacturer, effective April 22. The company has begun a search for his successor.
Norwood joined Hampshire in April 2006 as vice president and chief financial officer, and was named treasurer later that year. Earlier, he was the controller of Liberty Corp., which owned 15 network-affiliated TV stations.
“Jonathan has been a valued member of the senior management team during his five-year tenure and played an important role as part of the executive team that completed our comprehensive restructuring and cost reduction plan last year,” said Heath Golden, chief executive officer of Hampshire Group.
