Randy Pearce Named President of Regis Corp.

He succeeds Paul Finkelstein, who will remain chairman and chief executive officer through this year.

Randy L. Pearce — currently senior executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer of the Minneapolis-based Regis Corporation — has been named president, succeeding Paul D. Finkelstein, who will remain chairman and chief executive officer through this year. In 2012, Finkelstein, 68, will move to executive chairman.

David Bortnem, formerly head of operations of the MasterCuts brand, has been named to the new position of corporate chief operating officer, overseeing all Regis brands in North America. He will report to Pearce.

Brent Moen, now vice president of finance and corporate controller, has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer, succeeding Pearce, effective immediately. Finkelstein joined Regis in May 1987.

During his tenure, the company has grown from 659 salons operating in two divisions with annual sales of $172 million to seven divisions with more than 12,700 locations worldwide with revenues of $3.8 billion.
