Kathy Glynn has been named president of Adrianna Papell Sportswear.

Most recently, Glynn was president of Andrew Marc, a division of G-III Apparel Group Ltd., where she helped expand the business into many key categories including dresses, footwear, handbags, cold weather accessories, small leather goods, sunglasses and watches. Before that she was vice president of sales at GAV, and earlier was vice president of U.S. wholesale sales at Giorgio Armani.
In her new role, Glynn will be responsible for sales, marketing, merchandising, design and production for Adrianna Papell Sportswear, which was officially launched for fall.
She will work with Michael Smaldone, creative director, to develop product that will result in increased distribution in the U.S. and abroad, said Adam Berkman, chief executive officer of the Adrianna Papell Group. The sportswear is currently available at stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Von Maur and House of Fraser.
