NEW YORK — Beth Cohn has joined Vince, a division of Kellwood Co., as senior vice president of retail, a new post.

She will be responsible for overseeing all retail operations and expansion plans for the contemporary brand, as well as the relaunch of its e-commerce site, vince.com. Her first project will be to open Vince’s Madison Avenue store on Aug. 3, to be followed by a location at The Grove in Los Angeles this fall.
Most recently, Cohn was senior vice president of retail for Theory and Helmut Lang, managing 34 domestic stores, including full price and outlets, five European stores (direct and concessions) and e-commerce merchandising. Before that, she was vice president of retail at Juicy Couture, and earlier served as general merchandise manager and senior vice president of Prada North America. She has also held buying posts at Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys New York.
Cohn reports to Jill Granoff, chief executive officer of Kellwood.
