He succeeds Patricia Williamson, president of international sales, who left the company.
Most recently, Guidetti was senior vice president of international sales at St. John, where he oversaw the brand’s wholesale and retail expansion in Asia, Europe, Eastern Europe and South America. Earlier, he was director of sales and international business development at Liberty of London and before that was head of international sales at Pringle of Scotland, managing director at Pegasus Apparel Group based in Milan and corporate director at Donna Karan International.
At Tahari, he will oversee all international sales and development for the women’s, men’s and accessories collections. Tahari has a presence in more than 40 countries, including 250 points of sale throughout Europe, South America, Asia and the Middle East.
“Fabio’s understanding of the luxury market and his extensive international development experience makes him the ideal candidate for this role,” said Elie Tahari, who added that the global business continues to expand at the company.
Guidetti, who began Monday, reports to Bob Galvin, chief executive officer of Tahari.
