Lamborghini Signs South African Deal with Ararat International

The brand will produce an extensive clothing and accessories line in South Africa.

Automobili Lamborghini SpA, has entered into an agreement with Dubai-based Ararat International to represent and distribute a new, extensive clothing and accessories line in South Africa.

Ararat was established in Sudan in 1974, and has represented clients including Michelin, Peugeot and Ferrari. The Lamborghini line will fall into Ararat’s consumer products division, which has distributed such lines as True Religion, Affliction, Ed Hardy and Kooba.


“We are very pleased to represent, as distributors, Lamborghini, one of the world’s most exotic brands. Lamborghini epitomizes luxury in performance and appeals to the most sophisticated consumers,” said Garo S. Vanian, president of Ararat International, who was awarded the French Legion of Honor in 1993 for the development of Franco-African Business Relations.
