Nautica Signs License for Eastern Europe

The brand signed a licensing agreement for the distribution of its sportswear in Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, the Baltic States and the Turk Republics.

Nautica is entering Eastern Europe.

The division of VF Corp. on Thursday signed a licensing agreement with Eren Retail for the distribution of its men’s and women’s sportswear in Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, the Baltic States and the Turk Republics. The merchandise will launch for spring.

In Turkey, the collection will initially be sold at freestanding Nautica stores it will be opening in Istanbul and Ankara. The brand will be introduced in Russia in Nautica stores in Moscow and Saint Petersburg this month and in stores in the Ukraine at the end of the month.  Future plans include a Nautica store in Kazakhstan in the fall, followed by scheduled launches in the Baltic States and the Turk Republics early next year.
