MILAN — Spurred by the success of the charity initiative sponsored two years ago, Tommy Hilfiger has teamed up with ex-model and songstress Carla Bruni again to support the Breast Health Institute.
The designer has created a limited edition smoke gray leather tote with a vintage feel that will be sold in his European flagships, from Milan to London and from Berlin to Paris, starting Wednesday.
The bag will be presented in Milan during a party hosted by Hilfiger and Bruni on Tuesday.
“I’m very proud to continue this special initiative and work with the Breast Health Institute again,” said Hilfiger. “Aside from sensitizing consumers on breast cancer we also want to contribute to finding a cure.”
Fifty percent of the sales from the 1,000 bags will be contributed to the institute. The bag retails for 200 euros, or $285 at current exchange rates.
In the near future, the bag will also be available in the designer’s new flagship in New York on Bleecker Street.
