GOOGLE STOCKS HIT $1,000: Google’s stock hit $1,000 for the first time after the company said third-quarter earnings jumped 36.5 percent to $2.97 billion as sales for the three months ended Sept. 30 increased 11.9 percent to $14.89 billion.

EDITORIALIST CLOSES SERIES A: The Editorialist, an eight-month-old content and commerce site, reeled in $2 million in Series A funding. The money will help the luxury accessories site, which is on track to turn a profit by early 2014, grow internationally.
NIKE UNVEILS NIKE+ FUELBAND SE: Nike Inc.’s vice president of digital sport Stefan Olander unveiled the Nike+ FuelBand SE as well as an updated Nike+ FuelBand app with a feature that allows users to form groups with their friends and easily share fuel data.
GIFTLAB PREPARING TO LAUNCH IN THE US: Carmen Busquets is gearing up for the U.S launch of Giftlab, the luxury e-commerce Web site she founded in the U.K. in November 2012. The site focuses on the art of highly personal gift-giving.
