Barbara Fairchild to Leave Bon Appétit

Editor to step down by end of year; magazine will relocate to New York.

Condé Nast said Monday that longtime Bon Appétit editor in chief Barbara Fairchild will leave the magazine, and that it will move its editorial operations from Los Angeles to New York before the end of the year.

The company said that Fairchild is leaving to pursue other opportunities, “including future projects for Conde Nast.” The publisher said it would name a successor after the magazine had completed its move.
