Condé Nast Entertainment Taps Joy Marcus

Condé Nast Entertainment has tapped Joy Marcus as executive vice president and general manager.

FILLING THE GAP: Condé Nast Entertainment has tapped Joy Marcus as executive vice president and general manager.

Marcus fills the spot left open by Fred Santarpia, who moved over to parent company Condé Nast in the newly created role of executive vice president and chief digital officer last fall. Marcus will join CNE on May 19 and report to division president Dawn Ostroff.

Marcus will be responsible for CNE’s digital video business, including distribution, business development, technology and product development, revenue operations and marketing.

“From launching and building Dailymotion’s North American operations to her recent work at Bloglovin’, Joy has spent her career building and scaling successful digital businesses and is joining us at just the right moment to take our premium digital video business to the next level,” Ostroff said.
