CUCINA CLOSED: According to industry sources, the New York bureau and American edition of the cooking magazine La Cucina Italiana is closing up shop today, following a directive from Condé Nast Italy, which has owned an 80 percent stake in the publication since last July.

La Cucina Italiana is currently published in Italy and licensed in Germany, the Czech Republic, Turkey and the Netherlands. Those editions will continue. In Milan, La Cucina Italiana is also a celebrated cooking school.
