Deborah Needleman Recruits WSJ’s David Farber for T Magazine

He will take over the post of men's fashion director, replacing Bruce Pask, who left T for Bergdorf Goodman.

NEEDLEMAN RAIDS WSJ..AGAIN: T Magazine’s editor in chief Deborah Needleman has scooped up WSJ Magazine’s David Farber to be men’s style director. Farber replaces Bruce Pask, who left T for Bergdorf Goodman where he serves as men’s fashion director.

Farber has held the role of men’s style director at WSJ since 2009. Prior to that, he worked at Men’s Vogue and The New York Times Magazine.

Raiding WSJ seems to be a theme for Needleman, who left the magazine as its editor in 2012, for T. When she arrived at T, she brought along some top talent with her, namely creative director Patrick Li, deputy editor Whitney Vargas and photo director Nadia Vellam. Most recently, she dipped back into WSJ’s talent pool, luring copy chief Minju Pak, as T’s assistant managing editor.
