Garance Doré Inks Book Deal

The style blogger has signed with Random House’s Spiegel & Grau imprint for the North American rights to the forthcoming, and as yet untitled, tome.

DORE BY THE BOOK: Seven years after starting her namesake Web site, Garance Doré has taken a step inevitable for style bloggers of a certain stripe (or monthly unique visitors rate): She has inked her first book deal. The Parisian implant to New York has signed with Random House’s Spiegel & Grau imprint for the North American rights to the forthcoming, and as yet untitled, tome.

Much like her blog, the book will feature a mix of Doré’s photos, illustrations and musings on fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Jessica Sindler, who joined Siegel & Grau from Gotham earlier this year, will edit.

Doré has some catch up to play with Scott Schuman, her other half in the first couple of street-style photography, and her corecipient of the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s 2012 media award. He has already released two books under his Sartorialist banner.
