Fuller Resigns at AMI, Remains Editor at Large at Star

Bonnie Fuller is giving up her crown.

Bonnie Fuller is giving up her crown. The executive vice president and chief editorial director at American Media Inc. will resign from her positions as of Wednesday. She will continue on as editor-at-large of AMI’s Star magazine, and also will act as a consultant to David Pecker, AMI’s chairman and chief executive officer.

“I am proud of the significant achievements of American Media’s celebrity and fitness brands over the past five years, and I am now ready for a new adventure,” said Fuller.

Fuller has been evp, editorial director since July 2003, having joined the company from Wenner Media. Fuller was editor in chief of US Weekly, and has also served as editor in chief of Cosmopolitan and Glamour.
