Iris Van Herpen Guest Edits A Magazine

The Dutch designer joins the list of designers including Haider Ackermann, Riccardo Tisci and Stephen Jones who guest edited the fashion publication.

BE MY GUEST: Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen is the latest fashion figure to guest edit A Magazine, a fashion title based in Antwerp and Paris. Haider Ackermann, Riccardo Tisci and most recently Stephen Jones have also done the honors.

Model Hanne Gaby Odiele fronts the cover shot by Pierre Debusschere. The issue features an interview with choreographer Benjamin Millepied, with whom Van Herpen collaborated on ballet costumes; and an essay by Costume Institute curator Harold Koda about the upcoming Charles James retrospective.

The issue will be available on March 3 in select distribution in 30 countries including at Colette and OFR bookshop in Paris and Opening Ceremony and the Museum of Modern Arts in New York. The issue has about 200 pages, with advertisers including Dior, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.
