POULIQUEN NOMINATED: Marie Claire France has appointed Katell Pouliquen as deputy editor in chief, effective Sept. 2. Pouliquen, 38, most recently served as editor in chief at women’s magazine Be, which was sold by Lagardère Active to Reworld Media Group. The transfer was completed in July. Anne Bianchi, editorial director at Be, also left the magazine.
Pouliquen will work alongside Marianne Mairesse, who was appointed Marie Claire editor in chief in May.

In 2013, paid circulation of Marie Claire in France was 404,306, down from 428,367 in 2012, according to France’s Audit Bureau.
