Promotions at Harper’s Bazaar

The comings and goings at Hearst’s women’s titles continue.

The comings and goings at Hearst’s women’s titles continue. A few weeks ago, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire found themselves trading editors. Now, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle are seeing changes. Following the departure of two high-profile editors — executive editor, Kristina O’Neill, who left to join WSJ. magazine, and features director Anamaria Wilson — Bazaar has promoted a trio of editors: Nicole Fritton is now fashion market and accessories director, Elisa Lipsky-Karasz, a former WWD editor, succeeds Wilson as features director, and Joanna Hillman is the new style director. A spokeswoman said Bazaar is still weeks away from naming O’Neill’s successor. Meanwhile, Elle’s accessories director, Kate Davidson Hudson, and its senior accessories editor, Stefania Allen, are no longer with the magazine. They could not be reached for comment, but a spokeswoman said they left to spend more time with their families.
