SELF CENTERED: Edie Campbell, Natalia Vodianova, Doutzen Kroes, singer-songwriter Lykke Li, Raquel Zimmermann and actress Sonja Kinski are among the faces in a new exhibition of self-portraits, fittingly called “Self-Portraits,” brought to life by Harper’s Bazaar and Viva London Model Management.
The 30 self-portraits of models and talents will be available in an online portfolio at harpersbazaar.co.uk/fashion from Sept. 3. The public will be able to view the photographs at The Shop at Bluebird on the King’s Road in London’s Chelsea neighborhood from Sept. 4 until Sept. 18.

The pictures range from a tender moment between model Campbell and her horse, to Kroes with her son, and Lithuanian model Edita Vilkeviciute playing the grand piano naked. “I’ve been playing piano for more than 15 years, and it has become such a big part of my life. Since I was very young I wanted to make simple images of just me playing the piano. I always felt this is who I am. It’s shot on film. I didn’t want to control the images. Real and simple,” said Vilkeviciute.
“While we feature many of the world’s most photographed models on the pages of our magazine and online, it’s rare to see them captured in unguarded, intimate and private moments,” said Harper’s Bazaar U.K. editor Justine Picardie. “The resulting self-portraits in the exhibition are variously intriguing, poignant and beguiling.”
“The idea of giving our talent a platform to express their inner selves really appealed to us,” said Viva founder Natalie Hand.
