Glenda Bailey to Be Honored

The French government is expected to bestow the Harper's Bazaar editor with the Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres early next year.

SPEAKING OF GLENDA….: Glenda Bailey will soon join designers Yohji Yamamoto and Marc Jacobs on a small list of fashionistas that the French government has bestowed with the Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. This distinction was established in the late Fifties to recognize artists and writers that have contributed to furthering the arts in France. Bailey, who was awarded an OBE in her native Britain in 2008, is expected to receive the honor early next year.
