T Taps Jesse Ashlock

Ashlock joins Monday from Condé Nast's Details, where he was the print magazine's deputy editor.

T: The New York Times Style magazine has a new online director — Jesse Ashlock, the last editor in chief of shuttered design magazine I.D., which closed in 2009. Ashlock joins Monday from Condé Nast’s Details, where he was the print magazine’s deputy editor. Most recently, he had contributed to that magazine’s ‘Digital Mavericks’ issue. T had an online editor, Jane Herman, who had been a hire of previous T editor Sally Singer and is now contributing to Vogue, but she left several months ago, according to a Times spokeswoman.
