THE KID STAYS IN THE PICTURE: Photographer Terry Richardson has a way of making his presence known and his new campaign for David Webb is no exception. The controversial lensman shot the Hungarian model Eniko Mihalik gnawing on a pliable, plastic doll that looked just like her. Styled by Lori Goldstein with the creative direction of Buero New York’s Alex Wiederin, the ads will break in September issues of Vogue, Garage, Russian Tatler and Town & Country, among other publications.
Mihalik, who also appears in fall ads for Carolina Herrera and Alberta Ferretti, piled on the bejeweled bracelets, rings necklaces and brooches for David Webb. The campaign also features a more tame shot of Mihalik draped on the shoulders of Richardson (uncharacteristically decked out in a white tuxedo) and pinching his left cheek. The ads aim to draw new interest in the brand, which is opening a Beverly Hills boutique at the end of this month near Giorgio Armani, Robert Clergerie, Christofle and Wolford. Shortly before the 2,300-square-foot store bows at 9621 Brighton Way, David Webb will shutter its 17-year-old shop in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

Mihalik will be omnipresent in fall fashion magazines. The 25-year-old Hungarian headlines Robert Lee Morris’ first national ad campaign. Created by Lloyd & Co. and shot by Ben Hassett, the ads will break in October issues of Elle, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar and other publications. A behind-the-scenes film from the shoot will be posted on Morris’ new site that debuts Sept. 15. The image makeover will be in place just as Morris’ first collection under the ownership of Haskell Jewels hits stores.
