BEE’S KNEES: Roger Vivier has tapped Miroslava Duma to front a booklet showcasing its spring-summer “Vivier’s Codes” collection, photographed by buzzy 19-year-old Olivia Bee.

The 35 images — portraits and still lives — present a “somewhat eccentric” vision of brand staples such as the graphic curved buckle on the Miss Viv’ handbag, the comma heels of the Virgule pump or the leather lozenges of the Prismick range, the brand said.

Bee shot Duma, known as Mira to friends, against natural and painted backdrops reminiscent of a cartoon strip. “I treated shooting Mira like shooting a doll in a variety of grand paradises,” explained Bee, who earlier this year photographed Atlanta de Cadenet for Roger Vivier’s Virgule campaign.

Duma, a global fashion fixture, is founder of Russian fashion news Web site Buro247 and digital media director at Russian department store Tsum.

“Her sense of humor, her cheerfulness, and her international outreach around the world make her a young legitimate sister to the brand,” said Roger Vivier brand ambassador Inès de la Fressange.

The images will be published in a limited edition booklet that will be distributed from January 2014 through Roger Vivier’s 21 flagships worldwide and sent to customers.
