INCOMES KEEP SOARING FOR FASHION’S TOP BLOGGERS: Bryanboy’s Bryan Grey-Yambao may have caused a stir in 2010 when he boasted that he made $100,000 annually as a blogger, but today that number appears paltry — top style bloggers now can earn more than $1 million a year.
 
EBAY LAUNCHES FULL-PRICE DESIGNER SHOPS: The e-commerce and payment giant unveiled the Designer Collective at ebay.com/designercollective, a current-season, full-price shopping destination with 16 American-based brands, including Calvin Klein, Nicole Miller and Elie Tahari. The brands will control their own storefronts, which eBay helped build.

ALIBABA TAKES ON U.S. E-COMMERCE MARKET WITH 11 MAIN:
Alibaba is making its first go at the U.S. consumer with 11 Main, a multicategory e-commerce destination that launched in beta mode.

MOBILE BROWSER BUYOUT:
Alibaba plans to buy the rest of mobile browser operator UCWeb Inc. to form the “largest merger” of Internet companies in China’s history. This comes ahead of the e-commerce giant’s much-anticipated initial public offering on Wall Street, set for later this year.

FERNANDO MADEIRA TAKES REINS AT WALMART.COM: Fernando Madeira was named president and chief executive officer of walmart.com with responsibility for the U.S., Latin America and the further growth of the e-commerce site.

MR PORTER TO LAUNCH KINGSMAN LINE: Mr Porter partnered with the upcoming film “Kingsman: The Secret Service” to create a new men’s wear label, Kingsman, inspired by the tailored Savile Row looks from the movie.

KIPLING TAPS YOUTUBE STAR FOR BACK TO SCHOOL: Kipling North America signed YouTube star Megan Nicole as the face of its back-to-school range. The campaign, titled #Back2Kipling, will include a yet-to-be revealed social-media contest, digital and print advertising and in-person promotions.
