CFDA TEAMS WITH INTEL FOR WEARABLES: Intel Corp. is working with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Barneys New York and Opening Ceremony to launch a smart bracelet. The computer giant will also help the CFDA connect designers with technology firms that can help them develop new products.
TARGET’S DATA BREACH WORSE THAN EXPECTED: Target said last year’s credit card breach impacted up to 70 million people, while initially the retailer said about 40 million credit and debit cards were stolen.

DAVID CAREY’S UPDATE AT HEARST: David Carey, president of Hearst Corp.’s magazine division, said that earnings from its digital and new print products such as HGTV Magazine and Food Network Magazine will “account for more than 30 percent of profits in 2014 in the U.S.”
CANALI LAUNCHING REVAMPED WEB SITE WITH SHORT FILM: Canali unveiled plans to launch its revamped Web site on Monday with a short film starring graphic artist and calligrapher Job Wouters. The short is called “Contours” and will focus on the artist’s colorful brushstrokes and intricate images as he is seen completing 80 drawings.
