Josie Natori was the star at two book signing parties in Manhattan for her first book, “The Art of Natori” (Glitterati), Tuesday at Bergdorf Goodman and Thursday at the Rizzoli bookstore on West 57th Street.
Actress Susan Lucci made an appearance at Bergdorf’s and said “how marvelous” the book looked. Bergdorf Goodman chairman and chief executive officer Jim Gold said, “It’s all about beauty. It perfectly reflects Josie’s exquisite taste.”
At Rizzoli, some 100 guests turned out on the upper level as the Champagne flowed and stacks of Natori’s books kept being replenished as the designer autographed more than 50 copies. The combined events sold in excess of 100 books, each for $100.
