Erik Wilkinson has been named global sales director for Eton, the Swedish luxury shirtmaker.
Wilkinson, who has been North American sales director for the company since November 2009, will be responsible for leading Eton’s international sales beginning in August. He will report to Hans Davidson, chief executive officer, and will keep offices in both Gånghester, Sweden and New York City.
Chris Donohue, most recently vice president of consumer brands for Massif Mountain Gear, has joined Eton and replaces Wilkinson as sales director for North America. He starts immediately and will be based in New York.
“Erik has made a tremendous impact on our business in North America,” said Davidson. “And we are excited to promote him to this new and highly valuable position within our company. We are also very happy to welcome Chris to Eton, and feel confident that we have found the best person to take over the reins in Canada and the U.S. We look forward to seeing what this terrific new team can achieve in the coming years at Eton.”
