Ksubi to Launch Eyewear

Ksubi will introduce its first ophthalmic eyewear range at the Mido Milan and Vision Expo trade shows this month and next.

Ksubi will introduce its first ophthalmic eyewear range at the Mido Milan and Vision Expo trade shows this month and next. Designed by Ksubi cofounder George Gorrow, the prescription frames will join the Australian fashion brand’s growing sunglasses business, which currently accounts for about 10 percent of total company sales.

The debut ophthalmic collection includes nine styles and 40 SKU’s, including acetate and titanium options. The frames are made in Japan using Japanese materials, as is the existing sunglasses collection. The newest Ksubi sun collection includes a limited-edition style designed by DJ Tiga, and the company is currently collaborating with Kanye West on an eyewear range to accompany the upcoming launch of the musician’s long-delayed Pastelle men’s wear line.
