Robert Talbott is beefing up its team.
The Monterey, Calif.-based accessories brand has brought industry veteran and former Saks Fifth Avenue men’s fashion director Stanley Tucker on board as a strategic adviser. In addition, Mary Beth Walsh has joined the company to oversee sales in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions, including the Robert Talbott showroom in New York.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stan and Mary Beth to the Robert Talbott family. Their respect for the heritage of Robert Talbott and understanding of the craftsmanship and artistry that our products represent will serve us well as we continue to grow our business around the world,” said Robert Corliss, president and chief executive officer.
Tucker began his career at the Associated Merchandising Corp. and the central buying office of Federated Department Stores Inc. and also worked as senior vice president of men’s wear for Burberry and executive vice president for Geoffrey Beene.
Walsh had worked for Talbott for 12 years as a senior buyer and wholesale liaison before joining Oxxford Clothes as general manager and executive buyer.
