“Offering young and promising designers a real opportunity for visibility is something that I’m passionate about. I like to discover visions and regain the energy that is the mainspring of success,” said Armani, adding that he wished Pellizzari “a bright future.”
Treviso-born Pellizzari, who cut his design teeth in Florence and Paris, said he was proud to have been chosen by “the undisputed international fashion icon.”
“During my career, [Armani’s] talent, consistency and timeless style have always fascinated me. I hope to live up to his iconic theater with my fashion show, as this is an important step for me in my creative and professional life,” he said.
Pellizzari is known for imbuing his clothes with a carefree, relaxed spirit without losing his passion for elegant tailoring.
Previously, Andrea Pompilio, Stella Jean, Julian Zigerli and Au Jour le Jour’s Diego Marquez and Mirko Fontana have shown at Armani’s theater.
