Jockey Signs License With Gerber Childrenswear

Jockey International has signed a license with Kellwood Company's Gerber Childrenswear division to design, manufacture and distribute children's apparel.

Jockey International has signed a license with Kellwood Company’s Gerber Childrenswear division to design, manufacture and distribute children’s apparel.

The agreement, which takes effect immediately, will include Jockey-branded underwear, sleepwear and thermalwear for infants, toddlers and children in the U.S. and Canada.

In other Kellwood news, the company has promoted Stephen Walmsley to the position of vice-president of business development and special projects, reporting to Kellwood’s chairman, president and CEO Robert Skinner. Walmsley, who joined Kellwood in Sept. 2004, was formerly director of special projects. He is charged with identifying and building business opportunities for the company.
