ATLANTA — This fall, Nike will launch the Livestrong Collection, a versatile performance collection from Nike and Lance Armstrong for men, women and kids that can be worn for training, running and cycling. It includes apparel, footwear and accessories for men, women and kids, and can be purchased at select retail partners and online at niketown.com and livestrong.org beginning Oct. 2.
Nike will give all profits from the collection to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which supports cancer survivorship programs and works to make cancer a national priority. The collection is inspired by Armstrong, and takes its name from the extremely successful Livestrong yellow wristband created by Nike and Armstrong in 2004. So far, that has sold more than 70 million pieces.
Nike said its 10/2 collection, Nike’s other product collaboration with Armstrong launched two years ago, will remain in the market until the retail launch of the Livestrong Collection.
