LONDON — After the success of Topshop’s collection of printed dresses by Celia Birtwell last year, its sibling Topman is teaming up with another storied design name from ’70s London. The men’s wear retailer has tapped Antony Price, who’s known for designing suits for Roxy Music and, most recently, dressing Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, to design an 11-piece capsule collection for Topman called Priceless. The men’s collection, which launches at Topman in November, will include four suit styles and three different shirts, alongside a waistcoat, ties and coats, including crombie and drummer boy styles. The range will retail from 20 pounds, or $40, for a tie, to 180 pounds, or $359, for a suit. The Priceless collection is the third installment of Topman’s collaboration with the London-based rock and fashion Web site thelookpresents.com. As part of the range, a line of tattoo-print T-shirts designed with the ’70s label, Wonder Workshop, will launch at Topman in May, followed by a collection of T-shirts designed by Nigel Waymouth, the founder of the ’60s King’s Road boutique Granny Takes a Trip, which will launch in June.
