After inking a deal with the Miss Universe Organization in December, Neil J. Katz will now partner with Maxim Magazine for a new men’s fragrance collection set to launch in fall.
“Our job will be to harness and bring [Maxim’s] excitement, fun and suggestiveness to the fragrance world,” said Katz, chief executive officer of fragrance marketing and distribution company, Omni Scents, founded in 2012. “This launch should be a heck of a ride.”
According to insiders, the Maxim Fragrance Collection will be available in department stores and fine fragrance retailers.
“Entering the grooming category is for the Maxim brand a natural progression of [its] global growth strategy,” said Jack Kliger, executive chairman of Alpha Media Group, which publishes Maxim.
