Peter Millar has tapped Mahi Gold, a Massachusetts-based lifestyle brand and retailer, to open a store in Boston’s Seaport district.The store at One Seaport marks the brand's 12th boutique for the brand and offers the Peter Millar Collection, its high-end Crown Sportswear line as well as performance apparel and activewear from the Crown Sport line.“Over the last few years, we have had a front row seat to the brand's explosive success. Peter Millar has set the new standard for men's wear, and we look forward to our partnership with this leader in the lifestyle apparel industry,” said Mahi Gold co-owner, Mike Gorman. The brand has a flagship in Chatham, Mass., that measures 3,600 square feet.Rebecca Voelkel, co-owner, said the Seaport District "is the most exciting and innovative part of the city and experiencing incredible growth." The mixed-use project offers 250,000 square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment space in the heart of the city.Scott Ruerup, president of Peter Millar, believes Boston's “discerning fashion audience" will be drawn to his brand.
