Cerruti Name Perrichon CEO

Cerruti SAS has named Florent Perrichon as president and CEO of the Paris-based luxury maison.

MILAN — Cerruti SAS has named Florent Perrichon as president and CEO of the Paris-based luxury maison. Perrichon replaces Philippe Cleach who exited the house to pursue other interests.

Perrichon joins from edgy English label, Criminal, where he was managing director for three years establishing the brand in major department stores and independent stores across the U.K., Europe and Japan as well as opening a Criminal flagship in London.

Before that Perrichon held various posts at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton including EMEA commercial director for TAG Heuer and operations director for De Beers Diamond Jewelers, a joint venture with De Beers and LVMH.

“I am honored and excited to have been given this opportunity. Cerruti is one of the few global brands that carry the tradition of Italian fashion and love of beautiful fabrics together with the glamour of Hollywood stars. I’m lucky to join a strong and dedicated management team and to get such a support from the shareholders,” said Perrichon, who graduated from France’s prestigious Ecole Polytechnique.

“We are delighted to have someone of the caliber of Florent Perrichon taking the reins of Cerruti. His passion and experience are exactly what Cerruti needs at this stage of its development. We are now ready to move Cerruti to the next level of success,” said Ramon Betolaza, president of TOGA Investments, Cerruti’s controlling shareholder and an affiliate of Matlin Patterson Global Opportunities who acquired the label in 2006.

Belgian designer, Jean-Paul Knott stays at the brand’s creative helm.
